Mission Statement: Helping people take their next step with Jesus Christ.
Real life is found in Jesus Christ, so it's our goal to help people of all ages, backgrounds, income, and status take steps toward Him. No matter where you are on your faith journey, God places one step of faith and obedience in front of us, and it's our part to take the step.
The way we articulate our vision is simple. We believe that if an individual is taking steps of growth in his or her faith journey, there will be evidence of life in three different areas:
Living life with God. As followers of Jesus Christ, all of our life is lived with God. He is with us not just on Sunday, but in every detail of every day. It's our goal to honor Him because He has extended His grace and love to us.
Sharing life together. Life is not meant to be lived alone. We are better together, so as a church we provide opportunities for individuals to connect around common interests and Bible study. Sundays at Arrowhead are great, but they are not enough. It is difficult to connect on a personal level in such a large group. We share life together through small groups, classes, and events.
Giving life to others. Jesus taught us that the greatest love is to lay down our lives for those around us. Christ came to transform us from being self-centered to being others-centered. We do that both in the life of the church and in our community and the world through volunteering at church, inviting friends and family to church, and in local community service.
