Mission & Vision
The most important thing to know about any church is its mission. Ours is simple: Helping people take their next step with Jesus Christ. No matter who you are or what your background has been, the most important thing in your relationship with God is what's next. For some of us, that's simply to explore who He is and what His people are all about. For some, it's a particular change in life that needs to be made that you know you are looking for.
A Bible word or a church word for taking next steps would be discipleship. Discipleship is a word that just simply means learning more about Jesus and Following Him with our lives. We believe that's happening if we are pursuing life in three ways:
1. Living life with God.
All of us were created to know God and to find life from that relationship. As we grow to learn more about Scripture, prayer, and obedience to Him, we grow in our relationship with Him. We believe faith is an everyday process and that it's not just for Sundays.
2. Sharing life together.
All of us have a desire for community, which simply means that we would know someone else well. We all need encouragement and we all need correction. A church should be a safe place to pursue transparent relationships and friendships.
3. Giving life to others.
Healthy living involves input and output. What we learn should be shared. Experiences should be profitable not only for us but to help others. It's our goal not to let wisdom end on us. We want to give it away in the form of our resources of time and energy.
